Job Description: Internship

This internship offers a meaningful and rewarding work experience designed to build a foundation for future career success. Interns will perform vital work on business projects, collaborating with professionals across multiple departments. The experience is designed to expose interns to real-world situations and help them identify career interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on assigned project(s) under the supervision of experienced managers and mentors.
• Collaborating with professionals from various departments.
• Networking with and learning from different levels of company management.
• Receiving regular, candid feedback on job performance.
• Asking questions and regularly checking for understanding.
• Participating in orientation and networking opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Achieving defined goals and objectives, including key projects and milestones.
• Working as part of a team on projects requiring innovation and strategic problem-solving.
• Preparing and presenting a summary of learnings and experiences upon internship completion.
• Performing other duties as needed.

Internship Details:

• Duration: Typically 12 weeks.
• Pay: $21/hour.
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), on-site.
• Transportation: Interns are responsible for their own transportation, including potential travel to local sites.

Minimum Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12 week on-site internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
• Undergraduate students graduating between [insert season (fall/summer)] OR students completing their junior or senior year of college/grad school.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.

Specialized Knowledge: Basic knowledge of technical writing, statistics, data analysis, CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent); solid technical, mechanical, or electrical design aptitude; computer skills (including Microsoft Office software).
