Job Description: 2025 Summer Internships

Pay Rate: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour

Position Purpose: Veolia North America offers summer internships in New Jersey for students to gain practical experience in various career functions. Opportunities exist in:

Engineering
Watershed Maintenance
Laboratory
Customer Service Operations
Data Analytics
Communications
GIS

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Completing tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communicating issues and roadblocks encountered.
• Assisting with research or special projects to support business initiatives and objectives.
• Preparing and delivering insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Presenting findings and conclusions from analyses; making oral and written recommendations to management.
• Performing field-related duties as assigned.
• The internships focus on learning fundamental business processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience/Background: High School Diploma/GED is required. Applicants must be working towards a four-year degree (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate) in a related major (e.g., a junior in electrical engineering for an electrical engineering internship).
GPA: Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation); ability to build collaborative relationships.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
