Job Description: Summer Marketing Internship (Equine Business Unit)
This is a paid, 8-week summer internship located in Phoenix, AZ. The intern will work directly with the Equine Business Unit leadership team, focusing on business development (eCommerce and brick-and-mortar) and consumer and trade marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to challenging business projects across business development and consumer/trade marketing.
• Own specific projects with a direct impact on business results, working with key partners like Amazon, Tractor Supply Co., Chewy, and Walmart.
• Collaborate with brand marketing, digital, eCommerce, and sales professionals.
• Receive coaching and mentoring from managers and colleagues.
• Work on projects related to fun and exciting equine products/brands.
• Monitor point-of-sale (POS) data, social media trends, and other relevant data using Central’s tools. Analyze this data and make recommendations for business improvement.
• Conduct research projects to enhance brand and overall business performance.
Qualifications:
• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Preferred majors include business, marketing, digital marketing, business administration, communications, or finance.
• Genuine passion for growth and development.
• High academic standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent team leadership capabilities.
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Self-starting capabilities and a demonstrable record of achievement (academic or otherwise).
