Job Description: Intern – Marketing/Trading
This 10-14 week summer internship (Summer 2025) is located in either Richmond, VA or Lexington, KY, and offers hands-on experience with Diversified’s Commercial Midstream team. The intern will:
• Develop and refine a financial forecasting model for the midstream business. This involves utilizing strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Evaluate contract rates and opportunities. This requires research and analysis of market data and contracts.
• Conduct industry data research. The intern will be involved in gathering and analyzing relevant information about the natural gas industry.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. This highlights the dynamic nature of the internship and potential for varied responsibilities.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Highly proficient in Excel. Strong analytical skills are essential for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with team members and present findings to leadership is crucial.
• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The internship requires a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Interest in learning about the Natural Gas industry. A genuine interest in the energy sector is a key requirement.
Position Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of the internship.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
