Job Description: Grain Intern (Spring 2025, St. Hilaire, MN)
CHS is seeking Grain Interns for their St. Hilaire, MN location for Spring 2025. Interns will work closely with customers, providing high-level service and information.
Responsibilities:
• Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills: scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
• Perform all grain operations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Manage and perform regular housecleaning processes and record keeping.
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment (legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc.).
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a work environment compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Compensation: CHS offers a competitive total rewards package including a base wage, and potentially bonus, incentives, and commissions (depending on the position). Actual pay varies based on experience, education, training, skills, and certifications.
