Job Description: Accounting & Finance/Asset Liability Management (ALM) Intern
This 10-week summer internship (starting June 2, 2025) is a hybrid position requiring 32+ hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Interns will need to come to the Linthicum, MD headquarters 1-2 times per week and for orientation and cohort events.
The intern will work within the Accounting & Finance/ALM department and will be responsible for:
• Aiding in the Automation and Reconstruction of Asset/Liability Management Files: This involves streamlining and improving existing processes.
• Creating and Automating a Weekly Markets Dashboard: Developing and maintaining a tool for tracking key market data.
• Reviewing and Simplifying or Automating Key Asset Liability Management Excel-Based Files: Improving efficiency and accuracy of existing spreadsheets.
• Learning Key Concepts in Asset Liability Management: Gaining practical knowledge of liquidity, capital, business profitability, interest rate risk, funding plans, cash flow, and financial analysis.
• Completing Other Tasks as Assigned: Contributing to various projects as needed.

The hourly rate is between $15 and $20, depending on skills and experience.
