Job Description: Engineer Co-Ops and Interns
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the manufacturing team in addressing issues related to papermaking, converting, and operational excellence, including contributing to and driving corrective actions.
• Ensure the accurate flow of data and information within the SAP database related to converting and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with teams to manage and update aspects of the SAP Plant Maintenance System.
• Contribute to KTG USA’s workforce while expanding your knowledge and expertise in a manufacturing environment.
• Work closely with department leaders to identify issues and opportunities and respond to operational problems.
• Work closely with Maintenance and Operating Technicians for troubleshooting, maintenance, and project work.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Technical/Functional Expertise:
• Solid understanding and ability to apply engineering knowledge to meet project needs.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Personal Attributes:
• Self-motivated; able to independently manage assignments, develop work plans, and proactively seek feedback to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the department, facility, and business.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to efficiently manage work time and work independently or collaboratively within teams.
