Job Description: Operations Intern (Westin Hotel & Spa)

This is a summer 2025 internship at a Westin Hotel & Spa, managed by Highgate. Interns will gain experience across various departments, including Operations, Finance, and Food & Beverage (F&B), within a fast-paced environment. The specific hotel location will be determined after an internship offer is extended.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees and guests in a service-oriented manner.
• Actively listen to and address employee and guest concerns.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance according to hotel scheduling needs.
• Adhere to Highgate Hotel Standards regarding appearance (uniform and nametag) and conduct.
• Comply with Highgate Hotel safety and operational regulations.
• Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions.
• Proactively handle problems, including anticipation, prevention, identification, and resolution.
• Understand and apply complex information from various sources to achieve objectives.
• Cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Show initiative by anticipating guest and operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

Pay Range: $20/hr
