Job Description: 2025 Summer Internships
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
Position Purpose: Veolia North America offers summer internships in New Jersey for students seeking hands-on experience in various career functions. Opportunities exist in:
• Engineering
• Watershed Maintenance
• Laboratory
• Customer Service Operations
• Data Analytics
• Communications
• GIS
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Execution of tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
• Communication of issues and roadblocks related to assigned responsibilities.
• Assistance with research or special projects across various areas to support business initiatives and objectives.
• Preparation and delivery of insights and recommendations based on analyses.
• Production of findings and conclusions from analyses; making oral and written recommendations to management.
• Performance of field-related duties (as assigned).
• Focus on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Education/Experience/Background: High School Diploma/GED is required. Applicants must be currently pursuing a four-year degree (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate) in a related major (e.g., a Junior in Electrical Engineering for an electrical engineering internship). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening, presentation, and facilitation); ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Required Certification/Licenses/Training: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
