Job Description: Summer Intern – Marketing (Hybrid)
This is a paid summer internship (June-August) in the Boston Beer Company’s Marketing Department, specifically supporting the Samuel Adams brand. The position is hybrid, requiring the intern to reside within commuting distance of the Boston office and be onsite 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
• Summer Project: Each intern will manage a project encompassing research/analytics, experiential exposure, and creative/entrepreneurial elements. The project will culminate in a data-driven recommendation.
• Team Contributions: Assisting the marketing team by providing insights and creative ideas to enhance market relevance. Working as a partner on the Sam Adams brand.
• Learning Modules: Participation in training modules covering company information, brands, the alcoholic beverage category, route to market, and company culture.
• Networking & Collaboration: Engaging in social and networking opportunities with other interns. Contributing to the improvement of the internship program.
• General Office Work: Primarily desk-oriented tasks and meetings.
• Event Support: Occasional travel to events and meetings. Occasional physical activity involved in setting up events (e.g., carrying cases of product).
Required Experience and Skills:
• Current undergraduate junior rising to senior year, majoring in Marketing, Creative fields, Business, or Liberal Arts.
• Prior internship experience demonstrating interest in Business, Marketing, Creative fields, and/or entrepreneurship.
• Strong commitment to culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and a proactive learning approach.
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour (depending on experience, skillset, and location).
