Job Description: PulteGroup 2025 Summer Internship
PulteGroup offers various operational internships providing hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. Interns gain a holistic understanding of the business through rotational shadowing and contributing to meaningful projects within their designated function (e.g., Finance, Sales, Marketing, Construction, Land Development).
Specifics of the Finance Internship:
• Financial Journey: Interns will develop critical reporting literacy vital to the success of the homebuilding business. They’ll gain insight into land acquisition, financial analytics, and advising on business decisions.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: The role involves working with various departments, acting as a “financial bridge” connecting sales, field construction, and other teams to ensure fiscal success.
• Responsibilities: Contributing to financial reporting, supporting land acquisition analysis, and partnering with other teams to achieve financial goals.
General Internship Details:
• Duration: 12 weeks (May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025), with potential schedule adjustments.
• Hours: 40 hours per week, schedule dependent on the specific role.
• Locations: Arizona (Scottsdale), Colorado (Denver), Florida (Bonita Springs, Jacksonville, Orlando, Riverview, West Palm Beach), Nevada (Las Vegas), North Carolina (Charlotte, Raleigh).
• Compensation: $20/hour (Pay varies based on position and location).
• Benefits: Eligibility for the Company’s 401(k) Plan.
• Format: Primarily in-person at one of the 29 Division Offices or in development communities. Interns shadow various functions within the homebuilding process.
• Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; authorization to work in the US; enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred); minimum 2.5 GPA preferred; strong interest in homebuilding, real estate, or construction.
• Skills: Curiosity, coachability, strong communication (written and verbal), tech-savviness (Excel, Microsoft Teams), organization, self-motivation, adaptability, and a bias for action. Extracurricular activities are a plus.
• Application Dates: October 1, 2024 – March 21, 2025.
The internship culminates in a capstone presentation to local Division leadership.
