Job Description: Social Media Marketing Intern

This is a part-time (20 hours/week) internship running from June 9, 2025, to August 15, 2025, paying $16.50/hour. The role focuses on assisting with all aspects of La Ligne’s social media presence. Responsibilities include:

Content Creation: Assisting in the creation of content for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. This includes posts, stories, and Reels.
Content Scheduling & Publishing: Utilizing social media management tools to schedule and publish content.
Trend & Competitor Research: Researching current trends, relevant hashtags, and competitor activities to ensure content remains fresh and engaging.
Influencer Outreach & Collaboration: Supporting initiatives to collaborate with influencers.
Performance Tracking & Analysis: Tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
Content Planning: Assisting with the overall planning of social media content.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Must be a junior or senior undergraduate student majoring in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with various social media platforms is essential.
Marketing Knowledge: A good understanding of current marketing trends and techniques is required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Passion for Marketing: A genuine passion for marketing is a key requirement.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills are crucial.
Creative & Analytical Skills: A combination of creativity and analytical skills is needed to create effective content and analyze its performance.
