Job Description: Finance Internship

This internship provides hands-on experience in various aspects of financial accounting. The intern will:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of inventory reports: This involves working with inventory data to create and analyze reports, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management.
Support the cost accounting team with process review and documentation: The intern will help review and document existing cost accounting processes, potentially identifying areas for improvement or streamlining.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities: This offers direct involvement in the crucial processes of financial statement preparation and closing.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze manufacturing data: The role requires working across departments to collect and analyze data relevant to manufacturing costs and efficiency.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required: This includes responding to various requests for financial information and analysis, developing the intern’s analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other financial software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited institution.
• Pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree and returning for at least a final term following the internship.
• Ability to commit to one of two 12-week internship cohorts (40 hours per week).
• At least one year of completed education at an accredited institution.

Internship Cohorts:

COHO1: May 20th, 2025 – August 8th, 2025
COHO2: June 17th, 2025 – September 5th, 2025

Compensation:

For roles based at the Milpitas, CA headquarters, the hourly pay range is $25. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as experience, location, and market demand.
