Job Description: 2025 Summer Internship (Finance Focus):

PulteGroup offers a 12-week summer internship program (May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025) providing hands-on experience in the homebuilding industry. Interns participate in rotational shadowing across various departments to gain a holistic understanding of the business. The finance internship specifically focuses on:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Gaining critical reporting literacy crucial to the success and feasibility of the homebuilding process.
Land Acquisition Support: Learning about financial analytics and advising on business decisions and opportunities related to land acquisition.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Working as a “financial bridge” between different departments, including sales and field construction, ensuring fiscal success.

Responsibilities: The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, working alongside experienced professionals in the finance department. The internship culminates in a capstone presentation to local Division leadership.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (minimum sophomore status preferred) or having graduated in the semester immediately preceding the internship.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 preferred.
• Strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, and/or construction industry.
Skills: Curious, coachable, personable, patient, action-oriented, accountable, motivated, enthusiastic, professional communication skills (written and verbal), tech-savvy (Excel and Microsoft Teams), strong organizational skills, self-motivation, learning agility, bias for action. Extracurricular activities are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: $20/hour (may vary by position and location).
Benefits: Eligibility to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Plan.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, schedule depends on the position’s requirements; primarily in-person at one of 29 Division Offices or development communities.
