Job Description: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Graduate Internship
This is a three-month paid internship within Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) division. The internship offers the potential to transition into a two-year Enterprise Graduate Risk Rotation program upon successful completion and degree attainment.
Responsibilities:
The internship involves supporting various projects contributing to the division’s priorities. These may include:
• Risk Assessment: Assisting in the assessment of business unit exposures by identifying risks, evaluating their potential impact, and reviewing existing controls.
• Analytics and Reporting: Developing and implementing key analytics and reports.
• Strategic Planning: Supporting strategic planning and change management initiatives.
• Financial Analysis: Performing budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring activities.
• Project Management: Working on cross-functional projects and teams, assisting with project management tasks.
• Risk Culture Promotion: Promoting a risk-aware culture and ensuring efficient risk and compliance management practices.

Qualifications:
• Enrollment in a full-time graduate degree program (MBA, finance, economics, public policy, law, or related field).
• Three to seven years of professional work experience.
• Graduation in December 2025 or May 2026.
Preferred Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience with Microstrategy and/or Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience working with large datasets.

Compensation:
The internship offers a non-negotiable hourly rate of $40/hr. The annualized market-based salary range for related positions is $64,480 – $83,200.
