About the Job: Project Management Intern
This 10-week internship (May 19, 2025 – July 25, 2025) is within the Business Transformation Office, a department focused on organizational change and improvement via effective project management and process enhancement. The internship is located in Alpharetta, GA (no relocation assistance provided), and is open to junior-level students graduating in May 2026.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with program managers to define requirements for a new Center of Excellence portal.
• Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations.
• Develop a central SharePoint site for the Business Transformation Office.
• Manage all project phases using the company’s Product Development process.
• Implement portal requirements incrementally based on priority and need.
• Maintain project schedule and accountability.
• Conduct basic data analysis related to project tasks and effectively communicate project status.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (junior level, graduating May 2026) in business, communications, management, or a related field.
• Understanding of fundamental project management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for data analysis and project management (SharePoint and MS Visio experience is a plus).
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adapting to change.
