Job Description: Human Resources Internship
This is a full-time, hybrid internship (2-3 days in the Hudson Yards, NYC office) paying $20 per hour. The position offers a blend of responsibilities within the Human Resources department, focusing primarily on talent acquisition and, after initial training, some legal support.
Responsibilities include:
• Talent Acquisition Support: This encompasses updating job postings on SharePoint and LinkedIn, managing the applicant screening process across various platforms, conducting phone interviews and assessments, scheduling interviews, performing background checks, and maintaining the company career website. The intern will also support hiring and onboarding activities for employees in both Brazil and the USA.
• Legal Support (after initial training): Working under the supervision of an HRBP and in collaboration with external law firms, this involves organizing information, tracking key dates, conducting legal research, assisting with preparation for hearings, and managing files for billing and audit purposes.
• General Administrative Tasks: This includes using Outlook for communication, creating presentations, and performing other general administrative duties as needed.
• Special Projects: Participation in various special projects related to talent acquisition and broader HR functions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience using AI tools.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work with urgency and follow up promptly with internal and external contacts.
