Job Description: Full Stack Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2025)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-volume, scalable software (front-end and back-end). This includes creating web applications using technologies like React/Node, back-end services using Java, ExpressJS/NodeJS, SQL, REST APIs, and new user-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, other business units).

Basic Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience building, breaking, and rebuilding software applications.
• Working knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX).
• Familiarity with Node.js applications, ReactJS, ExpressJS, Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong desire for continuous learning and exploration.

Internship Program Information and Requirements:

Summer 2025 only (Spring and Fall internships unavailable).
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited college/university.
• Must return to school in Fall 2025.
• Must reside in the U.S. during the summer internship.
• Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer.
• Location: Varies within U.S. PayPal office locations. PayPal operates on a balanced hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days flexible).
