Job Description: 2025 EBSCO Product Management Internship:

This is a remote, U.S.-based internship (excluding U.S. territories) for undergraduate students graduating in December 2025 or later. The position offers a cross-disciplinary experience designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of B2B product management within a large company. The internship runs from June 2025 and includes a dedicated orientation program and enrichment events with other interns. A specialized “Product Management 101” curriculum covering product strategy, market research, user experience, and more, is also provided.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn from experienced Product Managers, observing their processes for data gathering, requirement writing, design creation, decision-making, and product delivery.
• Ask insightful questions, consider the broader context, and proactively seek knowledge from colleagues, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Cultivate curiosity and a strong capacity for learning. Structure and organize insights, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Communicate honestly and respectfully, challenge assumptions based on data, and understand the reasoning behind key business decisions.
• Develop a scientific approach to testing hypotheses, gathering data, and iterating based on findings.
• Work cross-functionally on projects related to market analysis, competitive intelligence, product analytics, user research, design thinking, product specifications, requirements, and strategic vision.
• Explore opportunities to lead high-impact business initiatives and collaborate on projects across the product lifecycle.

Your Team:

You will be part of the Product Management team, working across various business units including SaaS, Research Databases, Proprietary Products and Content, and UX Research and Design. The team operates remotely, enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance this offers. Extensive resources, tools, training, and support will be provided.

About You:

• Undergraduate student graduating December 2025 or later, eligible to work in the USA.
• Experience working with software, whether through a computer science, applied technology, business background, or academic involvement.
• Strong academic record or proven experience in building digital products.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
