About FORVIS:

Interns work on client engagements similar to entry-level associates, gaining exposure to various industries and applying technical skills. They collaborate with senior staff and management, learning from experienced professionals while developing their own skillset.
Job Description:
FORVIS internships are available in audit, tax, or a combination, and can be part-time or full-time, depending on office needs. Spring internships generally run from mid-January to April 15th, while summer internships typically run from June to mid-August.
Responsibilities:
• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts (e.g., cash, accounts payable, fixed assets).
• Working with clients to reconcile account discrepancies and analyze financial data.
• Assisting in drafting management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside FORVIS partners and managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Effective time management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite preferred).
• Teamwork and independent work abilities.
• Problem-solving attitude and initiative.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Pursuing an accounting degree and CPA exam eligibility.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship unavailable).
