Job Description: Brand Marketing Intern
This is a paid, 12-week summer internship offering a 100% real-world experience. Interns will apply academic learning to real-world situations and develop leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. The internship focuses on the Herman Miller brand within the broader MillerKnoll organization.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver upon a global brand strategy to drive awareness and growth. This involves contributing to marketing initiatives designed to increase brand recognition and sales.
• Communicate the brand vision internally and securing organizational buy-in and alignment. This includes effectively conveying marketing plans and goals to internal teams and gaining their support.
• Implement a global brand marketing strategy with clear goals that align with the vision. This requires active participation in the execution of marketing plans with measurable objectives.
• Partner with channels/regions on their implementation plans. This involves collaboration with different teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and successful marketing campaigns across various locations and platforms.
• Participate in the rollout of brand guidelines. This includes helping to ensure consistent brand application across all marketing materials and channels.
Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced experience using PowerPoint and Excel
• Proficiency using Figma, Airtable, and Wrike (ideal, but not required)
• Enrolled and pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must provide transcripts upon request.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
The internship also includes one-on-one mentoring, a summer-long project, and learning sessions with senior leaders.
