Job Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing engineering intern for its Grand Prairie, TX (Dallas area) mechanical manufacturing shop. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 4×10 hour day schedule (3 days off per week).
Responsibilities: The intern will be involved in various aspects of manufacturing, including:
• Solving manufacturing issues
• Implementing process improvements
• Creating manufacturing work instructions
• Implementing new technologies and tools into the factory
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university in an engineering or technical STEM discipline.
Desired Skills:
• Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) Degree (preferred)
• Manufacturing knowledge
• Machining knowledge
• Assembly/welding knowledge
• SAP/Apriso/Creo experience
