Job Description: Internship
This internship offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment. The daily tasks are diverse and include:
• Creative Work: Crafting written communications (media materials, compelling social content).
• Research & Analysis: Analyzing brands using various resources.
• Idea Generation & Collaboration: Sharing ideas in brainstorms and team discussions.
• Planning & Logistics: Assisting with event coordination and logistics.
• Media Relations: Pitching stories to media, developing media lists, tracking media placements.
• Brand Monitoring: Tracking brands across traditional and social media.
Required Skills & Qualities:
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
• Creative & Out-of-the-Box Thinking: A willingness to think unconventionally.
• Digital Proficiency: Strong knowledge of established and emerging social media platforms, understanding brand strategies and best practices.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), with succinct and compelling writing and editing skills.
• Strong Time Management & Organization: Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing accurate and precise work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Hootsuite, Muck Rack, Cision, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Self-Awareness: Understanding of personal strengths and what makes the candidate unique.
