About the Company:

The State of Delaware offers a diverse range of internship opportunities across its various agencies. These agencies span numerous fields, including finance, technology, public relations, environmental sciences, and healthcare. The State is committed to providing hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development to its interns. Seasoned experts within each agency mentor interns to foster their growth and success. Opportunities exist across all three Delaware counties, with some agencies offering paid internships and others providing volunteer experiences. Some positions may be eligible for telework. Job Description:

The State of Delaware’s Intern Pool is a centralized application process for internship opportunities. Applying to this pool allows candidates to be considered for various internships matching their field of study and location preferences. The application process involves providing a resume and optionally, a cover letter detailing internship preferences. Once an agency has an opening aligning with an applicant’s profile, they will be contacted.

Key Requirements:

Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program (all majors are welcome).
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship.

Application Process: Applicants should submit their resume and optionally, a cover letter specifying their preferences through the State of Delaware’s Intern Pool application system. Applicants will be able to select their preferred location and field of study during the application process.
