Job Description: Undergraduate Placement Scheme – Post Production Engineering
This is a full-time, paid internship (£23,500 annual salary + benefits) for undergraduate students on an industrial placement year, starting June 2025 and concluding in Autumn 2026. The role requires working onsite Monday to Friday in the UK.
Job Summary:
The internship involves supporting the Post Production Engineering team within Disney’s Post Production Facilities in the UK and across Europe. You will be a key member of the Technology support team, providing technical and organizational support for the workflows used in video editing, audio mixing, and 2D/3D graphics design across Disney’s extensive media networks and direct-to-consumer platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to creative teams.
• Update technical documentation.
• Log and track support issues using a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with third-party teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Perform a wide range of technical and administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be a second-year undergraduate student on an industrial placement year, returning to studies in Autumn 2026.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Strong interest in media, engineering, or broadcasting.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle various administrative duties.
• Strong interest in media editing tools such as Premiere, After Effects, ProTools, Cinema4D, and others.
