Detailed Job Description:

This position (Job ID: 681976BR) supports production, business, and other processes within a team-based manufacturing environment at Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control business unit. The role is cross-functional, encompassing responsibilities in several areas:

Production Planning and Control: Contributing to the efficient scheduling and execution of manufacturing processes.
Total Quality Management: Participating in initiatives to maintain and improve product quality.
Systems, Manufacturing, Equipment, and Facilities Engineering: Working with engineering teams on manufacturing processes, equipment, and facility improvements.
Material Management: Supporting the efficient flow of materials through the manufacturing process.
Process Reengineering: Contributing to efforts to improve and optimize manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate may also:

Facilitate self-directed work teams: Leading and guiding teams in their work.
Provide training: Sharing expertise and skills with team members and colleagues.
Interact with internal and external customers: Collaborating on product planning, problem-solving, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Genuine interest in working in a manufacturing environment.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Location: Onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility (remote work is not offered).
Schedule: 4×10 hour day, with 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin offers other flexible work schedules as well.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be possible.
