Job Description: Partner Operations Intern

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Start Date: February 2025

Duration: 1-year internship (hybrid work model)

This internship within the Commerce Operations EMEA team offers a unique blend of data analysis and operational responsibilities. It’s designed for penultimate-year students eager to learn and grow in a technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and logging operational problems: The intern will pinpoint issues related to processes, policies, and capabilities to improve simplification, automation, productivity, and overall partner experience.
Data analysis and continuous improvement: Collecting and analyzing partner use cases to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Workflow optimization and problem-solving: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine workflows, minimize friction points, and solve problems for Cisco partners.
AI model enhancement: Contributing to the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) models’ interactive knowledge base to optimize internal workflows and engagement models.
Ad-hoc data analysis: Performing data analysis to answer specific business questions and ensure data quality.
Client relationship building: Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, requiring a solid focus on client needs and a professional demeanor.

Who you’ll work with:

The intern will be part of the Commerce Operations EMEA organization, working closely with colleagues both in Lisbon and across EMEA/globally, utilizing both in-person and digital collaboration methods.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently in the penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (must remain a student for the duration of the internship).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Data analytics and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within global teams.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership and drive execution.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• A “can-do” attitude and team player mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in Italian, French, or German (written and spoken).
