Job Description:

Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineering Intern in Orlando, FL. This internship provides the opportunity to contribute to highly innovative solutions for complex aerospace problems.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a cross-functional engineering team environment, leveraging technical and interpersonal skills.
• Conduct exploitation testing to enhance the integrity and security of weapon system environments.
• Perform penetration testing across various platforms and technologies using advanced techniques (e.g., embedded hardware, electronic warfare, radio frequency).

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerodynamics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. Ability to obtain a security clearance (US Citizenship required).
Desired Skills:
• Ability to develop exploits and recommend fixes/mitigation strategies based on identified vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in source code and disassembled code reviews.
• Ability to obtain a Level II DoD Certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M within six months of assignment.
• Experience with scripting languages (Powershell/Kickstart/Ansible/Python).

Additional Information:

Security Clearance: A government security clearance is required; US Citizenship is mandatory. The clearance level is Secret.
Work Location: Onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in Orlando, FL.
Work Schedule: Part-time, as assigned by the leader. Lockheed Martin offers various alternative work schedules for flexibility.
Relocation: Possible.
