Job Description: Graduate Level Internship

Align Technology offers a 10-12 week paid internship program running from May to August 2024. The program is designed to provide master’s and Ph.D. candidates with real-world experience and professional development. Interns are considered essential to the company’s growth and innovation.

Diverse Roles: Opportunities exist across various departments, including:
Finance: Financial and accounting support.
HR: Employee resource support and maintaining company culture.

Operations: Supply chain optimization and efficiency analysis.
Sales: Providing service to medical and healthcare clients.
Research & Development: Software solution development.
Software Development: Software and systems engineering projects.
Data Analytics: Data analysis and predictive modeling.
Software Testing: Ensuring product quality and compliance.
Global Operations Engineering: Working on software and systems impacting operations.
Information Systems: Supporting cutting-edge technology systems.
Cybersecurity: Developing protective software and solutions.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns work a hybrid schedule, splitting their time between the office (3 days) and remote work (2 days) at one of three locations: Raleigh, North Carolina; Tempe, Arizona; or San Jose, California.

Qualifications:**

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree with at least one quarter/semester remaining after the internship.
• Full-time availability during the summer months (May-August).
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Strong desire for skillset expansion.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite.

Compensation: hourly rate ranging from $15.00 to $55.00 USD, depending on skills, experience, and location. Rates are standardized based on factors such as position, location, year in school, degree, and experience.
