Job Description: Data Integration Intern

This 12-week internship (May 21 – August 8, 2025) within the Data Integration team focuses on Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. The team is responsible for extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into various targets, including maintaining and supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse system and related data interfaces.

Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the evaluation, research, and experimentation with batch and streaming data engineering technologies.
• Working with data engineering groups to showcase emerging technologies and enable their adoption.
• Defining and refining processes and procedures for data engineering practices.
• Collaborating with data scientists, data architects, ETL developers, and business partners to identify, capture, collect, and format data from various sources.
• Coding, testing, deploying, monitoring, documenting, and troubleshooting data engineering processing and associated automation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Conforming with company policies and procedures. This includes analyzing and providing support for the team by working with documentation to structure processes and data for accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics, with at least one semester remaining after the internship start date.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0 scale).
• Junior or Senior classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills to business leaders).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
