Providing legal guidance: The intern will apply their research to advise cross-functional teams (Business, Product, Marketing, Operations, Security, and Engineering) on legal matters.
Collaborating with Product and Commercial Counsel: This involves assisting in the interpretation and application of legal requirements during product development and the negotiation and revision of vendor and partnership agreements.
Developing internal legal resources: The intern will document legal guidance and create training materials for company-wide use.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player.
• Eagerness to learn and explore new areas, displaying critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

The role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the San Francisco, New York, or Denver office (candidates must be based in one of these locations; relocation assistance is not provided).

Bonus Points:

• Prior work experience, particularly in a startup or tech company.
• Demonstrated interest in fintech, privacy, employment, health, tax, payroll, benefits, and/or insurance industries.

Compensation: The hourly rate is targeted at $38.00/hr in Denver and most major metro areas, and $45.00/hr for San Francisco and New York. The final offer will depend on location, experience, and expertise.
