Job Description: Product Management & Marketing Intern – Fire Safety

This is a 10-12 week summer internship (May 19th, June 2nd, or June 9th start dates) located at Siemens’ UL Fire Global Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The internship offers a blend of technical, business, and marketing experience, providing practical, real-world application rather than just resume padding. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects impacting real solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in projects across various product management and marketing functions, contributing to Siemens fire safety business outcomes.
• Support product launch planning alongside Product Managers and Marketers.
• Develop sales materials, including presentations, demonstration resources (virtual and real), and various marketing materials.
• Assist in product training development.
• Support product or project management, providing customer service to existing and prospective clients.
• Create detailed documentation and technical content for product features and components.
• Support strategic planning, generating analytics and reports, and developing strategic campaigns and materials.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders to boost revenue.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently a sophomore or junior undergraduate student with at least two years remaining in their bachelor’s degree program (graduation no earlier than September 2026).
• Must reside in the Parsippany, NJ area during the summer internship (May-August); relocation assistance is not provided.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest and passion for technology and marketing.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and contribute unique perspectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.

Compensation:

The hourly pay range is $23-$28, with the actual wage determined by factors including budget and candidate experience. Siemens also offers a range of health and wellness benefits (details available at a provided link).
