Detailed Job Description:

This position is for a Sustainment Engineer supporting the Rotary Wing Sensors (RWS) program within the SGS/RWS/RWS P Dir program. The role involves providing sustainment program support encompassing integration, comprehensive logistics, sustainment plan creation, and lifecycle support requirements for the product. The engineer will act as a key interface between various teams and the customer.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing RWS technical data to identify repair trends, determine retrograde workload distribution, prioritize tasks, and define depot requirements.
• Serving as the Depot Operations liaison between multiple disciplines (Field Depots, Engineering, and Finance) to ensure program execution.
• Maintaining and coordinating various Product Support activities for domestic and foreign customers.
• Contributing to multiple aspects of the repair cycle, providing up-to-date repair metrics and status to Program Management.
• Offering input on workload distribution, repair prioritization among depots, potential expansion of repair capabilities, and process streamlining.
• Coordinating and tracking Acts of Government and Combat Battle Damage activities with finance, contracts, and field personnel.
• Supporting program reviews with performance-related metrics.
• Assisting with inventory and other general site audits.
• Conducting data research and creating charts for presentations to Senior and Executive Program Management and the Customer.
• Clarifying ambiguity and presenting information effectively.
• Developing and delivering reports, program directives, engineering change requests, and presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• An appropriate technical degree from an accredited institution (supply chain, industrial engineering, sustainment, or related STEM field).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
• Ability to use various IT applications to create purchase requirements and extract data.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare presentations.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (SECRET).

Desired Skills:

• Extensive experience in Depot Operations, Repair Management, and Supply Chain with trend analysis experience.
• Working knowledge of TABLEAU.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Army regulations and Army Supply.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment.
• Experience with SAP client applications.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling tools and techniques.

Additional Information:

• This position requires a US Citizenship due to security clearance requirements.
• Part-time remote telework is available.
• A 4×10-hour work schedule (3 days off per week) is offered.
• Relocation may be possible.
