About the Company:
Salesforce Research is seeking outstanding research interns to contribute to its ongoing research initiatives. The company focuses on advancements in various AI fields, including conversational AI, multimodal data intelligence, multimodal content generation, and responsible AI. Their research is applied to areas such as software intelligence, AI for operations, AI for availability & security, and environment & sustainability. Preference is given to candidates with publications in top-tier AI conferences and journals (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR).
Job Description:
Job Title: Research Intern
Duration: Minimum 12 weeks
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team of research scientists and engineers on a research project with the goal of publishing the findings in a top-tier conference.
• Expand research knowledge and explore applications outside your existing expertise.
• Focus on pure research that aligns with your PhD focus and contributes to the broader AI community.
• Present research findings at conferences alongside Salesforce Research researchers.
Requirements:
• Education: Currently pursuing a PhD in a relevant research area (e.g., Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning).
• Technical Skills:
• Excellent understanding of deep learning techniques: CNN, RNN, LSTM, GRU, GAN, attention models, and optimization methods.
• Experience with deep learning libraries and platforms: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Caffe, or Chainer.
• Strong background in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.
• Programming proficiency: Python, Java, C/C++, Lua, or a similar language.
• Preferred Qualifications: Publications in top-tier AI conferences or journals (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR).
