About the Company:

Job Description:

This part-time internship (minimum 28 hours/week from early January to mid-April) offers the opportunity to work within a team solving complex business issues. The role involves supporting senior team members in various aspects of corporate tax services, including:

Advising clients: Providing guidance on local and international tax matters, including business analysis, working capital management, profit sharing for partners, transfer pricing (pricing of goods and services between related parties), and the tax implications of business deals.
Improving clients’ tax functions: Helping organizations improve their tax processes to manage risk and enhance decision-making. This includes focusing on tax strategy, ensuring compliance, maximizing post-tax profits, and implementing best corporate tax practices.
Problem-solving and analysis: Supporting research, analysis, and problem-solving using various tools and techniques. This involves working with large datasets, building models, and utilizing data visualization tools.
Communication and collaboration: Interacting effectively with clients and firm management through both written and verbal communication. This includes clearly presenting findings and embracing diverse perspectives.
Professional development: Participating in PwC’s Professional program, which fosters leadership skills and provides opportunities for career advancement.
Compliance: Adhering to professional standards and the firm’s code of ethics.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (minimum 3.0 GPA), 0 years of experience. Ideally, interns are in their 3rd or 4th year of their undergraduate program.
Preferred Qualifications: Client service internship experience is preferred, and candidates should meet educational requirements for CPA licensing (either through completion of 150 credit hours or obtaining a CPA license via reciprocity). Demonstrated abilities in researching tax laws, client interaction, self-motivation, research of business trends, experience with automation and digitization, and working with large datasets are also preferred.

The salary range is $28.00 – $44.75. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, and vacation time.
