Job Description: Network Support Internship (Summer 2025)
This is a paid, 12-week internship running between June and August 2025. Interns will work full-time hours and be fully integrated into the Network Support team. The program offers a steep learning curve in a real-world environment, fostering a deeper understanding of networking, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in customer support.
Responsibilities:
• Research and resolve issues reported by Meraki customers and partners, covering the entire Meraki product line.
• Assist with lab testing of Meraki products as needed.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs found within the system.
• Complete a Network Project and present your findings to peers and leaders. Interns are encouraged to propose their own project ideas.
Qualifications:
• Expected graduation in Spring 2026 with a degree in Networking and Systems Administration, Computer Information Technology, Network Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field from a University/College or Accredited Course. Masters students are not eligible.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, including the ability to explain the functions and differences between the link, network, transport, and application layers.
• Empathetic approach to customer service, demonstrating problem-solving, explanation, and resolution skills.
• Resourceful, imaginative, and creative with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Program Features:
• Mentorship Program: Each intern will be paired with a mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, introductions to team members, and onboarding support.
• Real-world experience: Interns will contribute directly to the support team, working alongside full-time engineers.
• Paid Internship: Financial compensation is provided for the duration of the program.
