Connected Vehicle Intern – Summer 2025
International is seeking two interns for their Connected Vehicle team for the summer of 2025:
• Mechanical Engineer Intern: Will assist in the development and integration of connected vehicle technologies. This includes:
• Supporting the design and implementation of software and hardware solutions for connected vehicle platforms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, electrical engineers, and data scientists.
• Participating in testing and validation of connected vehicle systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Conducting research and analysis to support the development of new features and enhancements for connected vehicle technologies.
• Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress and findings.
• Data Scientist Intern: Will assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets related to vehicle performance, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency. This includes:
• Developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software developers, and business analysts.
• Participating in the development of data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to support research and development projects.
• Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations to share results and recommendations.
Intern Program Details
• Program Duration: 12 weeks
• Start Dates: May 12, May 19, or June 2
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Eligibility: Must be graduating between December 2025 and May 2027
• Compensation: $24 – $38 per hour, based on year in school.
Minimum Requirements
• GPA: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Major:
• Engineering Intern: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Data Scientist Intern: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field.
