Human Resources Internship at CSX
This 10-week summer internship program offers a comprehensive learning experience in the world of Human Resources. Interns will rotate through various departments, gaining hands-on experience in:
• Talent Acquisition: Assisting with the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
• Talent Management: Supporting the development and retention of employees through performance management, training, and career planning.
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Contributing to initiatives aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Benefits: Gaining knowledge about employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
• Human Resources Business Partner Areas: Understanding the role of HR in supporting various business functions.

Internship Details:
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Dates: May 27, 2025 – August 1, 2025
• Location: Jacksonville, Florida
• Work Schedule: hybrid or onsite (fully remote is not an option)
• Housing: CSX provides optional intern housing for the duration of the program (subject to eligibility).
• Compensation: Competitive hourly pay
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business, or a related major field of study from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications:
• Anticipated graduation within a year after the end of the internship
Knowledge and Skills:
• Proven leadership ability and initiative
• Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Organizational skills and problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Job Requirements:
• Ability to work inside an office environment
• Ability to work within established deadlines
• Successfully complete a background check and drug test
