Job Description: Marketing Intern – MBA

Location: Chicago, IL (PepsiCo Foods & Gatorade), Purchase, NY (Pepsi Beverages), or Plano, TX (PepsiCo Foods)

Duration: 10 weeks

Compensation: $55.50 – $56/hour (non-negotiable)

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Intern, you will be given significant responsibility to create high-impact marketing recommendations that contribute to PepsiCo’s short and long-term strategic business objectives. Your tasks may include:

Developing overall brand strategy: This includes creating in-store and online commercialization ideas to meet goals like sales, distribution, household penetration, and profits.
Leveraging consumer insights: Understanding consumer problems and using this knowledge to inform product, packaging, and communication development.
Building new product innovation concepts: Developing new product launch strategies and concepts.
Creating impactful consumer promotions: Designing engaging events and marketing programs.
Developing social and digital campaigns: Utilizing insights to create social and digital campaigns, including creative measurement tactics.
Partnering with agencies: Collaborating with agencies on brand positioning and communication strategies.
Using data analysis: Analyzing category and competitive dynamics to guide future business opportunities.

Qualifications:

Current MBA student: Must graduate within one year of internship completion (December 2025 or May 2026).
2-5 years of related work experience: Proven experience in a professional setting.
Strong analytical and communication skills: Ability to think critically, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
Proven leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead people and projects.
Experience with a consumer packaged goods corporation is preferred.
Marketing experience is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.
