Job Description

Mariner is seeking a Financial Planning Intern for the summer of 2025, with the opportunity to work in various locations across the company. This is a paid internship program that provides hands-on experience in all aspects of wealth advising.

As an Intern, you will:

Work directly with a wealth advisor team. You will gain practical knowledge and exposure to a variety of areas within financial planning.
Contribute to real-life projects. You will actively collaborate with team members to solve client issues, access resources, and achieve client-focused goals.
Develop professional skills. You will assist in preparing customized financial plans and investment portfolios for clients.
Build your network. You will meet and learn from experienced wealth advisor teams.
Experience Mariner’s “Giving Back” culture. You will participate in community involvement events organized through the Mariner Foundation.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026.
Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.

Skills & Knowledge:

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in both written and oral formats.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
