Hulu Originals Content Marketing Intern
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Reporting to: Senior Manager of Awards and Publicist for Originals
Responsibilities:
• Publicity and Awards:
• Compile daily press clippings and publicity recaps.
• Draft communications documents, including briefing sheets, pitches, trailer/key art, weekly Awards newsletter, and screener blasts.
• Assist with on-the-ground industry events and communications, like talent interviews, premiere events, awards screenings, junkets, and set visits.
• Create first drafts of talent schedules and learn publicity logistics, such as booking flights, hotels, and cars.
• Manage media inquiries, update media lists, press materials, and team documents.
• Assign screeners to media.
• Strategic Support:
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Track and measure PR campaign performance.
• Track Awards nominations and wins.
• Identify new trends and research the competitive landscape to inform the strategic approach to publicity campaigns.
• Compile and distribute creative marketing materials for digital media placements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Passion for Hulu content, storytelling, publicity, television, entertainment, and pop culture.
• Understanding of project management, analytics, and the media landscape (print, digital, broadcast, podcasts).
• Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft Suite.
• Understanding of social platforms.
Education:
• Enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program.
• Graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting.
• Currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
Additional Information:
• Consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
• Approximate dates: January 2025 through June 2025.
• 40 hours/week (hours and days to be determined by supervisor).
• Provide own housing in Santa Monica, CA area.
• Provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Potential for phone interview for strong candidates.
Compensation:
• $22.00 per hour in California.
• Select benefits may be provided (medical, financial, or other).
