Marketing & Brand Intern
TALEA Beer Co. is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing & Brand Intern to join our growing team. This is an in-person, NYC-based position for an early-career marketer with an interest in hospitality and CPG marketing. You will be responsible for fostering engagement with our online and IRL communities.
Responsibilities:
• Customer Engagement
• Represent TALEA through customer engagement at our taprooms.
• Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments on TALEA’s social and digital channels.
• Monitor review websites including Google & Yelp reviews.
• Community Outreach
• Evaluate incoming beer donation requests, coordinate pickup, and attend relevant events.
• Taproom Marketing Operations
• Assist with taproom marketing operations.
• Design and update beer menus.
• Coordinate signage for taprooms.
• Manage event cancellations and communication.
• Website Management
• Update TALEA’s websites.
• Manage and maintain TALEA’s beer listings and events calendar.
• List taprooms and community events on the TALEA website.
• Update beer menus on the TALEA website, as well as outside channels like Untappd.
• Marketing Content
• Execute against existing marketing calendar.
• Draft newsletters, sell sheets, and limited social content.
• Project Support
• Assist with larger marketing projects on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
• Must be 21+
• Must live in New York City
• Marketing, business, and/or communications major
• Prior marketing experience a plus
• Proficiency with Slack & Gsuite
• Basic familiarity with website management software like Shopify, Squarespace or Wix
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Expected Schedule:
• Four half days per week
Compensation:
• $20/hr
