Marketing Intern Job Description

This position assists the Marketing Manager with implementing social media posting and engagement, advertising plans, and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate is:

Responsibilities:

Schedule and maintain social media: Update community marketing assets as needed.
Assist with the new website changeover: Monitor ad placement on social media.
Request work orders and monitor changes through: Request and coordinate assets with Regional Marketing.
Monitor the consistency of information listed on websites, PR, directories: Remain focused on all opportunities for further cost optimization.
Assist with research opportunities.
Maintain listings on various channels.
Attend company virtual events.
Pull reports from Sprinklr, as necessary.
Assist with merchandising and community set-up.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be a junior or senior at a college or university in a marketing program or recently completed a marketing program.
Must possess initiative and be highly motivated.
Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Word on Mac or PC platforms.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule.
Related work experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong work ethic, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Follow directions from a supervisor.
Interact well with co-workers.
Understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
Accept constructive feedback.
Team player.

Physical Requirements:

The position requires occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving, and carrying office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
