Job Description: ITS Internship Program
This internship program at Caterpillar’s Solar Turbines division offers a chance to be part of a dynamic team, developing technical skills and contributing to the company’s success. The program is specifically designed to prepare the next generation of technology professionals.

Program Details:
• Rotations: Interns rotate through various departments including:
• Engineering
• Sales
• Service & HR
• IT Enterprise Applications
• Client Support Services
• Cybersecurity
• Solar Analytics
• Infrastructure Services
• Manufacturing IT
• Project-Based Learning: Assignments are tailored to each individual’s skills and the company’s needs. These assignments can range from assisting in quality assurance, software development, customer support, project management, and system administration.
• Interfacing with Business Roles: Interns gain an understanding of Caterpillar’s technology lifecycle and how IT supports the business.
• End-of-Program Celebration: The program culminates with a celebration of accomplishments and feedback from management.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited school
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• 0-3 years of related experience
• Previous internship or relevant project experience in a technology-related field
• Ability and willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA for the duration of the internship

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good business and technical judgment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary Range: $20.50 – $36.90 (depending on various factors)
