About The Manufacturing Engineer Co-op Program
This 12-week program places you at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant during the Fall term. You will be mentored by experienced technical specialists and assigned value-added projects. These projects will provide you with hands-on experience in the production environment, focusing on:
• Safety leadership
• Process and product improvement
• Productivity increases
• Waste elimination
• Total Productive Maintenance
You will also develop key manufacturing engineer competencies such as:
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving processes
• Leveraging analytics and data-based decision-making
• Enhancing leadership capabilities and leading teams
• Effective communication and performance elevation
• Strengthening technical expertise
• Understanding customer-driven focus
Upon completion of the co-op, you may be offered an internship/co-op or full-time employment in Owens Corning’s Operation Leadership Development Programs.

Qualifications
To be considered, you must have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant STEM major.
• Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate.
Location: Participants will be assigned to various manufacturing sites across the United States.
