The Consumer Marketing and Strategy Internship

This 10-week hybrid internship offers the opportunity to work on real-life projects within the Consumer Marketing and Strategy Organizations. You will work side-by-side with marketing and product leaders to champion, develop, manage, and drive key relationships that are critical to the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

5G: Help launch and execute new Home and Mobile programs. Analyze Mobile Performance Management and possible Broadband Offer Expansion.
Segmentation Marketing: Analyze Macro/Micro segments and consumer insights to create new value propositions/pricing plans for Prepaid and Consumer Loyalty Programs.
Device & Product Marketing: Contribute to the delivery of a compelling portfolio of next-generation product solutions.
Marketing Operations: Work with the Marketing Operations team to contribute to Verizon’s Go-To-Market, Disaster Relief, Budget & Pricing, Field Marketing, Integrated Marketing, overall Marketing Plan, and Internal Events.
Content: Support Verizon’s content business across its platforms and services. Projects can include content partnerships and linear & digital content deals.
Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills: Support the design and execution of new solutions. Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative analyses on emerging trends and disruptions, making recommendations for future areas of focus to drive growth.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Marketing, Entertainment and Media Technology, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, Strategy, or a related field, with an expected completion date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Project experience and/or coursework in marketing, strategy, data analytics, media, design, finance, consulting, product management, or product development.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Willingness to work in Basking Ridge, NJ, New York City, NY, Alpharetta, GA, or Irving, TX.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Competitive analysis, customer requirements analytics/management, and product management.
• Knowledge of consumer, enterprise, or telecom products and markets.
• Strong leadership, presentation, and technical skills.

Work Location:

• This is a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum of eight assigned office days per month.
