TikTok’s Trust & Safety Team:

The Trust & Safety team is dedicated to keeping the TikTok community safe. They use both human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly.

Global Wellbeing Team:

The Global Wellbeing (GW) team is responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring global strategies and programs for all Trust & Safety teams. These programs focus on supporting and promoting positive physical and psychological health, as well as healthy working environments, especially for those who work with potentially harmful content. This includes both in-house teams and outsourced partners.

Internship Opportunity:

This internship program aims to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. The internship will provide students with the opportunity to:

• Develop fundamental skills
• Explore potential career paths
• Utilize their knowledge in real-world scenarios
• Lay a strong foundation for personal and professional growth

The program runs for 12 weeks, starting in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following start dates:

• Monday, May 12
• Monday, May 19
• Tuesday, May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
• Monday, June 9
• Monday, June 23

Internship Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will be assisting the Global Wellbeing team in various tasks, including:

• Coordination and implementation of employee wellbeing programs: This includes initiatives for both in-house teams and partner locations across Mexico, South America, the United States, and Canada.
• Tracking and reporting: You will support the tracking and reporting of participation rates and overall site health.
• Collaboration with vendor clinicians: You will work with vendor clinicians to monitor wellbeing productivity targets and workload assignments.
• Site-specific needs assessment: You will gain knowledge of site-specific needs to recommend effective wellbeing programming interventions.
• Delivery of wellbeing solutions: You will assist in delivering evidence-based wellbeing solutions and recommendations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Psychoeducational training: You will support in organizing and delivering psychoeducational training on mental health topics in the region.
• Wellbeing engagements: You will participate in wellbeing-related engagements, including regular business reviews and partner meetings.
• Compliance support: You will support compliance efforts with country or region-specific legal and regulatory standards related to employee psychological health and safety.

Internship Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of operations metrics and structure
• Interest in supporting evidence-based health and wellbeing programs and initiatives in a corporate context
• Background or interest in health psychology, behavioral science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in providing consultancy on complex topics to a range of stakeholders (can be from academic projects or extracurricular activities)
• Interest in learning about outsourced business partnership models
• Familiarity with trust and safety operations workflows and behavior change interventions (can be from coursework or projects)
