Job Description:
Commerce Internship Program:
This internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in TikTok’s growing e-commerce sector. The program aims to provide students with fundamental skills development and explore potential career paths within the industry.
Program Details:
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Start Dates: Monday, May 12, Monday, May 19, Tuesday May 27, Monday, June 9, Monday, June 23
• Location: Los Angeles, California
• Compensation: $23.75 – $23.75 per hour, 100% premium coverage for full-time intern medical insurance (after 90 days), paid holidays, paid sick leave, employee assistance program, and mobile phone expense reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
Interns will:
• Provide end-to-end support for creator merchandizing: This includes data analysis, business strategy development, and internal communications.
• Support the growth of e-commerce creators: Responsibilities include creator education, operations, campaign management, and live stream support.
• Conduct business analysis: Interns will analyze overall central creator team performances, covering resource management and strategy formation.
• Generate live best practices, learnings, and insights: Interns will be responsible for sharing key takeaways from their work.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
• Strong understanding of livestreaming platforms, technologies, and industry trends
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Majors of Economics and Management are preferred
