Summer Internship Program
Program Details:
• Duration: Mid-May to early August (full-time, 40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Flexible, with hybrid options (up to 3 days from home).
• Potential for Continued Employment: Part-time opportunities after the internship, dependent on performance and school schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Apply academic knowledge to real projects: From concept to completion, interns will work on various projects of all sizes and types.
• Learn industry basics: Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Develop drafting and modeling skills: Learn the basics of Revit drafting/modeling and design for different applications, including:
• Audio/visual systems
• Voice/data systems
• Security/access control systems
• Conference rooms
• Data centers
• Emergency response centers
Qualifications:
• Current student: Pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT project management, architectural engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Career aspirations: Desire to pursue a career in technology consulting, particularly in low voltage design.
• Technical skills: Computer software knowledge or the ability to learn (e.g., Revit).
