Summer Internship – Low Voltage Design
Program Details:
• Duration: Mid-May to early August (full-time, 40 hours per week)
• Schedule: Flexible with hybrid options (up to 3 days from home)
• Potential: Opportunities for part-time employment after the summer
Responsibilities:
• Apply academic knowledge to real projects from concept to completion.
• Learn the fundamentals of Revit drafting/modeling.
• Gain experience in audio/visual, voice/data, security/access control design for various spaces like conference rooms, data centers, and emergency response centers.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree in:
• Computer Science
• IT Project Management
• Architectural Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Other consulting-related degrees
• Strong interest in a career in technology consulting, specifically low voltage design.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn computer software (Revit, etc.)
